Darren has over 25 years experience in accounting and taxation. He commenced with Smith Coffey in 1993 and provides accounting, consulting and taxation advice to the medical and dental profession.
He holds a Bachelor of Business and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA). Darren is also a Chartered Tax Adviser and is a Member of the Institute of Public Accountants (MIPA).
Darren is married with two children and outside the office enjoys playing squash and soccer and is a member of the Perth Glory Football Club.
Michael Deeny
Client Services Manager, Principal
Michael joined Smith Coffey in 2010. He is a Chartered Tax Adviser, has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, a Diploma of Financial Planning and a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.
Michael is a specialist consultant who helps our clients with accounting and tax advice, as well as assisting young medical professionals with financial advice.
Michael and his wife are proud parents to two daughters, and he loves to play a round of golf.
